Faithfully Serving Together in Christ

Ephesians 4:11-12

“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”

Meet the dedicated leaders guiding our spiritual journey.
Christian leadership is guided by the principles and teachings of Jesus Christ, focusing on serving others with humility, integrity, and love. It emphasizes leading by example, fostering a community rooted in faith, and promoting spiritual growth among followers. Key qualities of Christian leaders include compassion, wisdom, patience, and a commitment to truth and justice. They are called to shepherd their communities, encourage discipleship, and inspire others to live according to biblical values. Effective Christian leadership balances authority with servant leadership, prioritizing the needs of others and seeking God’s guidance in decision-making.

Pastor Mindy Davis

First Lady

Pastor Mindy and Pastor Gilbert Davis were joyfully united in marriage on September 25th, 2021. She proudly represents the second generation of Pentecostal pastors, continuing a rich family legacy. In 2025, she was honored to be elected as U.P.L.C.I.I. President of the Women’s Ministry for the district, a role in which she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to empowering women and children to deepen their faith and experience spiritual growth in the Lord. Pastor Mindy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and has successfully completed all the academic requirements necessary for her Master’s degree in Business Administration. Despite these academic accomplishments, her most treasured achievement is embracing her divine calling as a Minister. She believes there is no greater peace than knowing you are living and operating fully within the Will of the Lord. Additionally, she actively participates as a valued member of the Praise & Worship team, regularly preaches the Word of God, and supports the church by fulfilling a variety of important roles and responsibilities.

Pastor Benjamin Carnley

Assistant Pastor

Pastor Wendi Nutter

Assistant Passtor

Minister Wendi Nutter is a devoted wife to Duane Nutter, a mother of two (Crystal and Dustin), and a grateful grandmother to two wonderful blessings, Luke and Aubrie. She is currently completing her final semester of theology studies and will graduate in early 2026 with a diploma in Biblical Theology. Her journey into ministry began with a deep desire to know God intimately and to understand His Word beyond the surface. When a friend invited her to the Church of Good News Bible University, the door opened to a lifelong calling—one that transformed her walk with the Lord and ignited her passion to reach others for Christ. In 2022, Minister Wendi joined the Church of Good News, where she has continued to grow, serve, and walk faithfully in her calling. In June 2025, she was ordained as a minister. Her heart for ministry includes teaching young girls and women their identity in Christ, hosting Christ-centered tea parties, creating meaningful biblical crafts, and sharing Spirit-led messages that point hearts back to Jesus and the Kingdom of God. Her greatest joy is seeing God’s daughters understand who they are in Him—loved, redeemed, and chosen.

2 Timothy 3:10-17

“You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my
purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions,
sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch,
Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured.
Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
